(August 2016) – Nanto Cleantech is sponsoring a team of skyrunners since a while. What is the skyrunning? It is an extreme sport of mountain running above 2,000 metres where the incline exceeds 30%. It comprises a number of different disciplines from the short, steep Vertical Kilometer to the more popular SkyRace and SkyMarathon.
Among these competitions, one of the most popular is the Matterhorn Ultraks Trail race and Nanto – sponsoring a team of 8 skyrunners – attended this event in Zermatt where one of its athletes, Riccardo Sterni, obtained the second place the VKS – Vertical Zermatt Sunnega, the most hard and challenging race among those in the program.
What do Nanto Cleantech and Matterhorn UltraRace have in common? “Passion for challenges. We strongly believe in endurance and high performances and for this reason we decided to support this team in this unbelievable sport which is taking everything behind the limits, as we use to do daily in our work” told the CEO of Nanto Cleantech, Roberto Cafagna, who also attended the trial.
