Nanto Cleantech Inc. chose the stage of Indianapolis for its American debut, in the exciting context of the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of famous historical race Indy 500.
The 5th edition of the American Coatings Show (Indianapolis, April 12th – 14th) was the occasion to showcase a branch of new products, ready to be launched on the market, including the innovative NPC 10011, a lining for internal pipes with increased anti friction and anti corrosion properties. Roberto Cafagna, CEO, presented the aforementioned products during the session dedicated to “Functional and Smart Coatings” on the topic “Anti-corrosion and fire retardant paints based on novel epoxy nanoclay composites”.
On May 22nd, during the awards gala that took place at JW Marriott in Indianapolis, the Society of Plastics Engineers gave its top honor, the International Award, to Samuel Kenig, CTO of Nanto Cleantech, dean of engineering and head of graduate studies in plastics engineering at Shenkar College in Israel.
This award is also an acknowledgement of Nanto Cleantech’s innovative technology, based on silicates (clays) – a commodity that is low cost, widely available and non-toxic to the environment – with cost effective advantages in reinforcement, fire retardancy and barrier properties.
